Granny sent home an Easter Bag full of goodies for Garrett....but we had to wait until Easter to give it to him!!! It was harder then you think to wait...one because he found it once and cried & cried to have it so finally he got to open it this weekend!

Easter 2009

We had another great Easter this year!!! We went to Wilson to celebrate our RISEN Christ with Gran & Pa, Nana, Poppy & Uncle Eric, Aunt HaHa, Zach & Gracie, Aunt Terry & Uncle Greg. It was so great this year because Garrett is finally at the age where he really enjoys all the fun things we try to do like color eggs, participate in the Easter egg hunt, open everything the Easter Bunny left him! He had so much fun!

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did this Easter but most importantly that I hope you stopped and thought about how important this past Sunday really was!!! If not for Christ we would be domed to die and spend an eternity in the lake of fire, BUT because he DID rise we have a gift to spend an eternity in Heaven worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!

Well in our living room that is! My sister got Garrett this Cars tent for Christmas and Adam & I thought how much fun would Garrett have playing in it!!! Well we were right...He's having a Blast!!! I'm scared I'm never going to be able to take this tent down!!!

Date with Daddy!

We had tons of fun today on Daddy's day off! He took us to go see Monsters vs. Aliens and it was so cute & funny! Adam & I really enjoyed it! This was Garrett's very first visit to the movie theater so we got him a drink & some M &M's {his favorite} like a big boy! He did pretty good! He let me hold him for the most part because he was still to little to sit on the chairs....when we sat him down on the chair the chair would fold up with him in it! {grin} It was funny but towards the end he wasn't happy he wanted to get down and run around!!!! So Daddy took him out for a min or two to calm down...
