New Room & a little Boy's 1st HappyMeal!

Adam & I were extremely Blessed last year! Right after we got married we got the opportunity to live in a town home in South Charlotte for near nothing!!! I guess the only down fall is that Garrett has to share a room with Adam & myself which is fine and all I just wish Garrett had a room that was just his....so this weekend Adam helped me turn half of our room into Garrett's New room! So of course I'm so excited about it I just had to share some of the pictures! So here we go...

While I was finishing up some last touches to LM's Big Boy room him & Daddy went to get themselves dinner of course McDonald's!!! But instead of just French Fries Garrett got his 1st Happy Meal & he was so excited about it! Him & Daddy had a picnic in his New room!

Long wkend, Monk-Monk & playing with Daddy

We have had such a great LONG weekend! well I was sick for part of it but I feel great now! We have had a lot of family time & it's been wonderful! Walks pretty much everyday, playing with Garrett, running errands together! I've really enjoyed myself!

LM got a haircut! If you would let me brag for just a moment?!? He did so so so well...he sat in the hairstyling chair and didn't make a peep or move one bit! I have to say we were so so so thrilled!

For Garrett's B-day Daddy got Garrett this life size puzzle of Curious George {Monk Monk} and he & I put it together the other day and Daddy got the idea to hang it over his bed and that's just what we did this weekend...so now every time LM goes anywhere near his bed I hear"MONK-MONK Mama MONK-MONK!" I love that the smallest things make him so happy!

B-Day Recap...

My Birthday today was a Great one!!! There were some ups & downs throughout the day... I think because {like I said earlier} I'm just really not into this whole getting older thing...Well all day I kept asking myself "What have you done or accomplished in the past 24 years?" And I guess I didn't like the answer I was giving myself! Not sure if everyone goes through this or just me but I'm giving it to God & keeping myself alittle more accountable about setting goals for my self and following through with them.

But back to my Birthday RECAP...

I woke up this morning to breakfast in bed from my Adam...which was delicious {as is Everything he makes!} then I got to open ONE present before he went to work & I got a Kellie Pickler CD {I Love her!} then Garrett & I cleaned the house up, enjoyed some Zumba & put together a life size Curious George puzzle. When Daddy came home I was in our computer room and Garrett brought me up some roses & as I walked down stairs to the dinning room I kept finding more roses...very romantic! I then got to open the rest of my presents & I got a pink shirt that is adorable, a bracelet & necklace! OOhh...I almost forgot tons of balloons & the sweetest cards!!!

It was a lot of fun we just got done eating ribs & asparagus :delicious: & cake {Red velvet with cream cheese icing} :double delicious: & now I'm ready for bed!!!

But I want to thank my two amazing boys for helping me age yet another year older...but most importantly for loving me and being the Best husband & son a girl could ask for!!! Thanks*

PS. sorry for no pictures this is a first in a long time for me but I think Garrett may have lost my camera...I'm in the process of trying to find it!

Happy Birthday to ME!

Today is my 24th Birthday...Where has the time gone?!? It seems like yesterday I was graduating from High school, or giving birth to Garrett! I'm not one that really likes getting older but I have to say God has given me some pretty amazing years! And I'm excited to see what HE has in store for me this year!!!

Plus my MIL says the 30's are the Best years of your life so 30's here I come!!!

The Best Birthday present a Mama could ask for LM being born 7 days before my 22nd Birthday!

The longest Birthday ever...

Like I've said many many times on here...we love and appreciate our families more then you can explain! Adam & I are so extremely Blessed to have so many people that love and care about our son! I know everyone is tired of seeing Birthday posts!!! I'm pretty sure this is the last one! But I wanted to share Garrett's actual Birthday with you and today Garrett got two more presents in the mail I'd like to put pictures up of them...so here we go!

We woke up early before Daddy had to go to work & made donuts...Garrett loves them! And at 10:07 AM we sang Happy Birthday to our now 2yr old!!!

Before we went to the park Nana brought over a present for Garrett and took us to the Cheesecake Factory for his Birthday lunch...it's was great but maybe next yr Garrett will actually sit through our entire lunch..{grin}

Garrett & Mama went to the park after he had his well needed Birthday NAP!

Nana present was Sponge Bob gardening gloves and bucket, flowers & dirt!

We have a lot more to do in the back...but the two big pots in front are now done...and it was FUN! Thanks Nana!

Now for the presents that came in the mail today...the first one is from my brother Tom & his amazing wife Agnes cousin Kaitlyn & cousin Ryan.

Garrett got a t-ball stand {I love it! Thank You!} and a cute little outfit....

and a magnetic puzzle that he just loves to death!!!

Then as soon as we got done opening his present from Uncle Tom & Aunt Agnes we got this huge box in the mail from Grandpa & Nana! {that's his surprised face!}

Garrett got really cool markers! And the most awesome car that Daddy's going to have to put together when he comes home tonight from work!

Garrett loved everything so much!!! look at all those clothes {polo!!!} that's going to make his Daddy so proud!

Garrett also got an Easter basket from Grandpa & Nana!

Thank you so much you guys are the best!!! I really can't Thank you enough! The only thing better would have been to have you all here with us!!!
